Workshop objectives
The workshop was aimed at introducing the project and its outputs to representatives of the Ministry of Health and other institutions involved in programming and managing ESIF linked to health as intended end-users of the outputs developed. Apart from that, the workshop was aimed at identifying health areas with funding potential under thematic objectives in 2014-2020 programming period and at opening discussion about the effective role of the Lithuanian Ministry of Health in supporting successful implementation of health priorities under ESIF and the specific roles of respective institutions in this model.

Workshop outcome
The main outcome of the presentation was the group activity focused on key competencies of the Ministry of Health to support the effective implementation of ESIF in the area of health in the 2014-2020 programming period. The group activity was designed with regard to the participation of representatives from both the Intermediate Body and other institutions. Therefore, the outcome contained a list of activities typical not only for an Intermediate Body, but also activities related to the coordination and cooperation with other ministries responsible for the implementation of other thematic objectives under the Operational Programme.
